Sustainable Packaging

Pioneer is committed to creating sustainable packaging solutions for customers that are cost effective and incorporate "green" alternatives whenever possible. Reducing the impact on the environment by using renewable or recyclable materials is one of the most critical ways to protect our natural resources. Working with vendors to minimize and reduce packaging, Pioneer encourages the use of sustainable and biodegradable packaging when applicable.

Our molded pulp wine shippers are manufactured in the U. S. A. using a closed loop system from 100% post consumer recycled content and are additive and chemical free. We are suppliers for Hexacomb© honeycomb products, which are an all-natural alternative to petroleum-based products and are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). We carry "green" bubblewrap, which uses up to 40% recycled content and is recyclable. And our corrugated boxes are biodegradable and recyclable.

Reuse, renew and recycle is the philosophy we must use today to protect our environment for future generations. At Pioneer, we will continue to provide fresh approaches and innovative solutions to meet that goal.
